You don't need a reciept, and there are ways around the 1 year warranty in this climate.

   Why the hell would you buy ANOTHER 360 if your first one died, especially if it died more then once?  You know that old saying fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...I can't be fooled again! (oh wait, that's the W version).

   I guess some people CAN be fooled again.

You do realize that the PS3 has no HD cables in the box.

What about the 19.99 hard drive ms is giving to arcade owners?
What about the fact he doesnt mention the price of arcade which is cheaper than the wii?
What about the fact that arcade is a "choice"? people dont have to buy it...

IGN knows that a lot of xbox fans come to the site...and they know that this will spread on forums and people will visit their site and generate advertising revenue...so they write crap like this.

My biggest problem with the Arcade:

"7. Xbox Live is Awesome…
…but not on the Arcade SKU. For a system that is supposedly for gamers who spend more time playing XBLA games than full retail releases, the Arcade system is pathetically equipped to handle people's downloading needs. Want to download a movie? Can't. Want to download more than a handful of undersized XBLA games? Can't. Want to download any of the awesome game demos on Live? Can't. Rock Band tracks? No more than 10 or so. Good call, Microsoft."

Coming from someone that isn't a fan of MS, I just bought an arcade model. With it now having the new chip, hdmi, only $199,  and the $30 20gb hd/xbox live offer, I thought it was a steal. I have my PS3 set up for all my media needs, so 20gb should be plenty for me. Picked up Dead Rising and Gears of War for cheap already, looking forward to try Braid and the new Portal.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it is white, when my PS3, TV, Shelf, Speakers, etc... are black.
