I guess they decided to take Mario Party 9 in a different direction. =P

Seriously it is odd to think this game is coming from Hudson Soft. Still the Wii seems to enable some developers to be more bold. High Voltage is an obvious example. The people who made De Blob are actually the same people who were making THQ's budgeted Nicktoon games for the last five years.

Not what I was expecting from Hudson, but hey, I'll happily take it. Mind you, I'll be playing with the lights on, thank you very much.

looks really good - very old skool fatal frame or resident evil which the Wii is seriously lacking of for me - I can never get enough horror games.

I can see me playing this with the sound through the stereo in my new 50" in the pitch black at midnight.

Um Fatal Frame IV is on the Wii. How is that lacking? There are also quite a few other games like Cursed Mountain that you should look into.

I will look into Cursed Mountain when it's released and Fatal Frame 4 finally gets a euopean release date but I could literlally play one horror survival straight after another so 3 - 4 horror survival games is seriously lacking for me.  This is why I added for me as I was acknowledging there was a few but not enough for me personally.

I Agree. I'm very curious as to why this is? When I think Hudson soft i think Bomberman, lol. I was surprised to find out the team that does all those medicore Spongebob games made De Blob...

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

Blue Tongue (De Blob's developer) never made any dedicated Spongebob games. They made three "Nicktoon" games, which are basically clusterfuck of Nickelodeon licenses, one game based on Barnyard, and another based on El Tigre. Big Difference. =P

No literal Spongebob games though, those are divided amongst several developers actually. Maybe THQ will give one of them a shot as well. Deadly Creatures is actually made by the same people who made Cars the game and a lot of off-road racers.

In all honesty, that's very interesting. Make le mediocre on one side and then make stuff that looks miles better on the other.

I hope it turns out to be an 8.5+.

sweet, wii seems to be getting quite a few horror titles
