What is the point of any game?  Entertainment and fun, and LBP has lots of it.

HAHA, i understand any point of any game is to be fun. Just all ive heard about LBP is that its about creating items. While that sounds cool, im hoping thats not what the point of the game is alone. Personally, i wouldnt want it to be like Spore (which i found to be very disappointing as it relied too heavily on its creation mode and not on the gameplay itself)

You can play LBP for about 10 hours without touching the creator mode, and that is just the story mode. Then you can just continue playing forever with levels created by others
