What about the people who bought PS3 Just for MGS4, will they get reimbursed $100 $200?

Eww, i'd never come close to buying an xbox. The sad part is, after a company releases an "Exclusive" to a console, it's good to know that you can only play it on the console your playing, but when they come out and say it's possibly going to another console, an exclusive game going to another console... That's disloyalty, and if they wanted to make it multiplat they should have said it before they released the game, if this game goes on the 360, thats just complete disloyalty to Sony and the Playstation fans.

 

Edit: Im not only saying this about Konami, all the other ones.. For all the different consoles, it's just wrong.

Wrong, that's call business. Like it or not, companies are not about being loyal to fans. They are about money. Stop being such a fanboy and stop with the nonsense. Companies wont give a shit if they have one game in one console and have to move it to another one because they just want to "survive". If they have the need to move a game to another console because they need the money, they will simply do it. Just remember RE4. It happens more than you think, especially if you have been following this business since the beginning.

 

 

Survive? MGS4 can survive perfectly on the PS3, it wen't beyond Konami's expectations. And for the money part, I do agree.. And if you read the article on kotaku, it said the demand of random fanboys wanting the game on their console, not money.

Bioshock and Eternal Sonata isn't considered "disloyal" by the 360 crowd, at least as far as I've heard.

Well aside from the fact that there is already a discussion on the prospects of a 360 version of MGS4, I don't really see how this thread merits its own discussion anyways.

We don't need a new thread every time someone wants to comment about an issue already being discussed in another thread.

And finally the thread topic fails to meet the standards of forum rules anyways.

That's just it. You pay for the system that gets the games you want and has the features that you want. People are saying just buy the system that gets the games and does what you want. Not everyone has the money to get every system.

We're told that X system is getting so and so, and Y system is getting so and so.
We chose, then we buy the game. Then later on we see that Y system got X system's game, wtf??? That changes the line up, that might have made Y system the better purchase for me.

I don't like wasting money, I bought a PS3 thinking it's going to get this game that  a dev said it would and I won't be able to get the game any where else. MGS, FF, Tekken, JaK, RE, there are others, but these are the main games that decide for me. RE is shacky but I was told in the begining that if I wanted FFXIII, MGS4, and Tekken, that I would have to buy a ps3.... and now look????

Things have changed and Maybe my money could have been spent much more wisely... but no.... I've already bought my Box, and don't have the cash for another..... why?? I can either get another.. box or more games??? If I get another box what am I going to play???
