Whenever it comes out, it won't be soon. Which may actually end up being a good thing.

puffy, true, isn't big, but usually Nintendo launch Zelda in Japan first unless this's a launch title like TP.
//BTW I don't get why so many games (including Zelda) developed in Japan came in US at best a couple of month later it's japanese release, when a LOT of japanese franchises are much much more popular abroad.

Successful, yes... but Wii Music is not the blockbuster (so far) that Nintendo was hoping for. Obviously, they wanted to duplicate the success of Wii Fit but that game is outselling Wii Music by about 3 to 1 in North America in Wii Music's second week..
I feel that it will come in 2010 at the earliest. I wish it would come sometimes next year though.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
I think it might stll be a while, but it will come out in late 09 the earliest.
Nintendo is not producing games like they use to. Their schedule is focused on trying to move up the tiers of the industry, so they will be making game differently, and at different times.
I hope it will come out sometime at the end of 2009, but I won't be too surprised if it gets released in 2010.
Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U
Predictions:
Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was (essentially) completed at the begining of 2006 and only a small team worked on it further to tweek it for the launch of the Wii. What this means is that there has been (roughly) 3 years since the last Zelda game was (essentially) completed.
I can't help but think that when Miyamoto said that the next Zelda game would play like nothing that came before it he was expecting the Wiimote controlls to be more meaningful than a waggle replacement for a button. I could be wrong but I suspect that problems surrounding Zelda development may have been one of the core reasons why Nintendo decided to move forward with the Wii MotionPlus.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda when leading up to the Wii MotionPlus launch and it was released as (on of) the big game for the holiday season 2009.
