Dewy's Adventure - overly cute and mediocore ratings but the tilt platformer concept intriqued me so I got it anyways. Proved to be a very enjoyable and surprisingly challenging game.

Mario Tennis (Virtual Boy). I disliked Tennis games in general and when I bought the system, I got Teleroboxer on the side. But after I got tired of Teleroboxer, I tried out Mario Tennis and found it to be the most fun Tennis game I had ever played.

Mystic Heroes (Nintendo Gamecube). I will never forget going into the store and my brother begging me to pick the game up even though neither of us had even heard of it before. I was thinking the game would absolutely blow donkey sack but it turned out to be in my top three games of last generation.

Half-Life (PC). Getting a good PC was out of my range as a child so I had to wait until years later to play the game. I figured it would not hold my interest trying to compete with the current games of that time, but surprisingly, it more than held its own and became a top single player experience for me.

Kingdom Hearts. I didn't know it was from Square, or what type of game it was at all. The last Disney game I had played was Donald Duck's "Going Quackers" on N64, so I didn't have high expectations.

I am SO glad my friend convinced me to try it, as it's tied for my favourite game of last generation.

Assasin's Creed, after reading some of the reviews I thought the game would be bad. But I'm glad I tried it because I really enjoyed it.

I also liked this 007 game on the gameboy, I can't remember the name of it, I wasn't expecting much it was old and cheap and found it in a pawn shop but it was cheap enough for me to buy it, it was really fun, and ended up liking it a lot.

Also Pokemon pinball I bought it for my pokemon collection but it turned out to be a lot of fun itself.

Mario super star baseball it turned out to be quite a good and interesting game.
