Some pictures from the Giants game, if anyone cares. Milan Lucic showed up, which was pretty cool (he's standing next to Jonathon Blum #7).

Sharks have lost 3 games in a row for the first time this season. Naturally not enjoying this at all, Sharks have been playing pretty bad the past number of games, hopefully they'll rebound & beat Boston on Tuesday

3 games, that it........pfft. That seems like nothing compared the 8 game stinker the Canucks laid a couple weeks back. They lucked out vs Carolina, but looked very good against the Hawks.
That ought to be a good game, #1 vs #2. I have a feeling Lucic is going to have a big game.
Sharks seem to be back on track with a nice 5-2 over the top team in the East - the Boston Bruins

Good game....I saw the first bit, when it was 2-1. Did I call it or what......Lucic with a big game. Too bad they collapsed in the 3rd........well, not for you Spire.
Lucic did have a nice game with 2 goals, you called that. After the Sharks killed that 5 on 3 powerplay though the game was all Sharks.

I don't really deserve credit though......I always call a big game for Lucic, so most of the time I'm wrong. It's just that I absolutely love him......he's turned into my favourite player (it used to be Ryan Smyth).
Part of it has to do with watching him play in the Giants, and watching the Canada vs. Russia Juniors Superseries challenge in GM Place. He was the captain that time, and such a powerful force.....he ran through the Russians, without skipping a beat. I hope when he becomes a UFA, he signs here. I'd be so happy, if that happened.
Lucic becomes a RFA at the end of the 2010/11 Season, i think Boston will try their hardest to keep him though.

They will try, but they're going to have to make some tough decisions along the way. Kessel, Krejci, Wheeler, and Lucic will all command a couple million more each, whenever their current contract ends. All good young players. They'll probably get rid of Bergeron before that though, so they'll possibly be able to keep all of them.
But I don't see him leaving Boston until he becomes a UFA. He strikes me as a guy that loves Vancouver, loves being here, and would love playing here in his hometown. A few more years playing in Boston might change that feeling, but for now I think his heart is here. I kind of see it like a Willie Mitchell situation. But who knows what'll happen by then. Still, until that time comes, I can dream, right?
I thought that this was an interesting and cool thing to do.
"TV note: Altitude Sports & Entertainment announced that it will broadcast the second period of the Montreal Canadiens' visit to Pepsi Center on February 13th in black and white with an "old time" coverage style. The telecast changes are in celebration of the Canadiens’ 100th season playing in the NHL and will give viewers a flashback to what it was like when hockey was first shown on TV.
"Friday night’s old time hockey coverage is a way for us to celebrate the rich history of the NHL and to remind fans of the evolution of live sports television coverage," said Matt Hutchings, Altitude’s EVP/COO. "We hope that fans will enjoy the special broadcast and celebrate this history with us."
