Dont u understand these "online feature" are not really what is selling the system

It just bigger than NXE (third party level to "create") so we can guess Sony need more time to release it...

although i think home is the wort idea since the invention of bad ideas, i still think that online console services don't sell systems. that goes for psn, xbox live, wc24, home, nxe and so on.

To be honest virtual online modes don't sell. I really don't see this improving any units on each console at all. It will only help out the current, core gamers and as casual gamers see this on one of their best friends or cousin's console. Then they would probably fork out the money to get a PS3. Only if they like it and if its worth the purchase.

Like I said I don't know what's taking Sony so long to announce a release date. They keep announcing beta release dates and sometimes those are even suspect. Microsoft is doing something awesome right now and its trying to target the casual a lot faster than what Sony is trying to do.

I truly do believe Microsoft just wants to extend their fanbase, where as Sony is trying to idk...confuse their core audience.

Both virtual worlds look promising. It's just Microsoft announced a promising releases date this November 19 and Sony just keeps saying some time later in the year. For all we know, that could be pushed back to next year spring or fall.

I am not sure NXE should be called a virtual world. Home and NXE are two different beasts.

the 360 one isnt a virtual world, theres no where to go at all, its just avatars on your screen that make emoticons, you dont control them or anything.

home is far far superior, i really hope home is out this year, its going to be a worthy addition to the psn service
