No, but I got Super Mario 3 as a gift before my dad bought us an NES when we were kids, which kind of twisted his arm to get us one, so I kinda got a console BECAUSE of one game. (Which is the last console I was ever given as a gift :( )

No. Everything I've ever owned, I got for multiple games.

However, when I got my first N64, we only had two games - Mario 64 and Cruisin' USA. But then, there were barely any games available then anyhow.

Never. There are games that seriously tempt me, like LBP, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, Mario 64 DS, etc, but there needs to be a lot of reasons for me to buy a system, unless it's PS2 levels of cheap.

However, that trend will be broken when Kingdom Hearts comes out for PSP
