I don't see why fans of the series would care about which part of the series they play in a game and whether it's treading relatively new territory considering that I already know the story regardless of what they decide to use for the game.

Or perhaps you are talking about fans who have previously bought Naruto games, of which I am not, so I could see your point then. Personally I put anime based games up there with movie based games. I am highly skeptic until I see proof that they don't suck. Luckily UNS had a demo otherwise I never would have considered it. And now instead I'm buying it day one.

I think the difference though, is that I'm buying UNS not because it's a naruto game, but because I know first hand that it is fun. Therefore I don't care what part of the story they use, since the mechanics have already been proven to me.

if the game hasn't progressed storywise...where will my favorite characters be?

I think..personally UNS lacks characters..characters that UN already had..

why didn't they add them in there..Blu-Ray can handle it..

so what's the difference between this game and the Clasho of Ninja series?

well..it is technically still clash of ninja..but the refined battle system..

combo cancels, shippuuden characters, 3d story mode?..

hmm..also..the game will probably add tons of stuff optionally..like the hand seal stuff..and stage transitions

it's just japanese, new characters, new gameplay modes

ah..Revo 2 is GNT4...but only localized..and obviously adding things from the ex games..since it's on the Wii now

besides that..revo2 excluded some characters that were in GNT4 to add some new ones..FILLER characters for the filler story in revo2..sadly
