You'll love it. I used to be a PC gamer only, and my 360 is now my favorite gaming platform.

Welcome to the 360 family, glad to have ya..........Make sure you pick up a few goodies on Live, like Castle Crashers, Geo Wars 2, and Braid. With my current games and the upcoming ones, I am finding less and less time to enjoy all of them....sigh, oh well, regardless.....congrats on the purchase.

Welcome to the 360 family!

You can't go wrong with the games you mentioned and Gears is a must buy.

Friendly word of advice though; if you get Gears and decide to try online multiplayer, hook-up with some friends from here or elsewhere the first couple of times. There's a pretty steep learning curve and everyone having a mic, is well a blessing, and a curse. Make a noob mistake and lose the match for your team...and well, there are some people who aren't very forgiving, I guess.

You're welcomed to add me (TRios Zen) but I think you are in Europe and you know...time differences and all...

How do I play music in the background? I want to play oblivion more, but the music sucks so I am having trouble getting myself to play it when there is geometry wars and castle crashers to play.

You can do it many ways:

  • Copy music from a CD to your storage unit
  • Plug in a USB Hard drive in FAT format with mp3s on it
  • Plug in a USB Flash Drive with mp3s on it
  • Plug in an iPod or any other MP3 player to the USB
  • Plug in a PSP with MP3s on it to the USB

Once you do one of those, you make a playlist. Then load up the playlist when your in a game.

You can also stream it off your PC.
