Forums - Sales - Which will sell more hardware Fable 2 or Little big planet?

I'm not too convinced either one will be responsible for a whole lot of hardware sales at all...

I'm with you on this.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Same here. Maybe if the PS3 wasn't so damn expensive...

I don't think this head-2-head can be overlooked. What it comes down to is this...ATTACH RATE...do 360 gamers buy more games than PS3...this has a HUGE impact on exclusives...and probably the reason Konami is looking into the possibility of porting MGS4!

I think that Fable 2 will do much better than the first one. I also think that LBP will do well, but I don't think it'll be crazy numbers... Also the actual game could easily be downloable content... remove all the excessive noise the BR version has like tutorial and you probably don't have that big of a game. I'd like to know how big the actual game is... I remember reading that the actual game doesn't have that big of a footprint.

I think LBP will sell more, why? Cause its not a cheap knockoff like Sims. Plus I don't think RPG's appeal to everyone like LBP does. Userbase, price, attach rate does not = the amount of fun you can have. So all other factors do not matter.

i dont think fable 2 to be a system seller, halo 3 wasnt, gta4 wasnt, i see no reason why fable 2 will do it.

lbp will on the other hand be a system seller, but i feel its a kind of title that will have very good legs and will keep selling.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Do you want to go look at the weekly number in the weeks of Halo 3 launch?  Halo 3 pushed enough 360s that it surpassed the Wii that month.

short term quite definately Fable 2 - long term LBP might have a small chance to outsell Fable 2, if it's as well received by the public as we PS3-fans hope

edit:

ohh, kinda missed that it was about hardware.. hum.. that's a hard question, both should be able to sell some hardware, but I don't expect stellar hardware sales in their release week for their respective systems
