We already know how the PS3 is selling in comparison to the other consoles.

simple if ps3 199usd, then xbox360 will be 100-120usd for arcade,

now MS just respond to any PS3 price cut, and sony can not get lowered price than 360, because there is bluray + wifi + hdd cost

The Wii would drop price to compete. SONY would sell massive units. And they would lose probably 7.5billion b4 turning up profit again....

Oh, and the 360 would die out in sales....

At $200 with these parts Sony wold be losing $400-800 per console....no.

Wii would still outsell it even at 249.

Also 360 currently isnt 199, only it's lowest model is. To make it a fair comparison, you would probably have to eliminate all other sku's and assume the 360 Elite was 199 alongside the PS3. In any case the HIGHEST priced 360 (either Pro or Elite, with a hard drive to match the PS3 to keep it fair) would have to be 199. (And then to keep things even in this hypothetical scenario, you'd eliminate the other 360 sku's).

In which case going against a 199 Elite or Pro, PS3 still probably wouldn't win by that much in USA.
