Hmm i'd rather play the final thing to make my mind up about the game and as for "most advance next gen gameplay" ....LOL.

So what game would you say has this much detail? Gears 2? KZ2? Oblivion? MGS4? None of them come close. It's one thing having awesome graphics. It's another to be able to have a chain of properties for instance and be a landlord. Own shops, set the prices. Sort out the stock levels. Decorate your home. Affect the economy. Become a conniseur or ladies man. For instance Oblivion promised so much, but falls so short in comparison to Fable 2. Yeah in Gears 2, the graphics are awesome, but as usual you pick up a gun and fire it. In terms of next gen gameplay Fable 2 has done leaps and bounds. Thats my point. Finally it's not just ooohhh look at the ai there it ran for cover pretty good. Look at the texture there. Those things can get old quick.

In an MMORPG that would be fun because things like an Economy affect the gameplay experience of everyone playing for example in FLYFF cash shop users drove the price of rare items up causing super inflation . In a single player game the abovve elements aren't as apealing or rewarding what significance would an economy have if you were the only one truly affected by it ?

I mean do people in town dress poorer , spend less money on goods , die younger when the economy is poor in Fable 2 ? well if not then it's nothing special , in order to make up for having no real players other than yourself being affected by economy lionhead should atleast design the game to change with economic conditions etc.

Sorting out stock levels , decorating homes isn't anything new or oringinal maybe the developers of lionhead have found a new and innovative way to implement it but these things you go on about have all been done before in some form, possibly even better.

Honestly I don't see anything special about fable 2.

Yes prosperity is in full swing. Poorer people die earlier, have crappier houses live on streets. And no. No game has even come close to what this detail is. Also read my post befor this one.

The other things that they have in Fable 2 is real weather.

That's nice. But the things I always ask myself with Peter Molyneux games. Does this have any significant impact on gameplay? Or is it just in there because its cool? Have you played Black&White? The promises around this game were amazing. The problem was it just was not a fun game. I played it and I was seldom as disappointed. I never played Fable but I think the general reaction was that it was a good game but not because it was in any way revolutionary but because the standard RPG fare was done well. But lets see.

cheers for the video, the game sounds absolutely awesome!

having a simulated world where each character wakes up, goes to work, orders stock for their shops has not really been done before so it will be interesting to see how we can affect what goes on.

==> I dont think it is so impressive to have these features on a game ...
Indeed, it is maybe "long" for developpeurs to make all these things working but I doubt it is so "hard" to make it run on a console.

Also, I m not really interested some of these "second life like" things like being married for example ...

The only thing I can say is :
The visuals look good, the game has his own identity and that is really important for a cinematic game.

How much do I have to pay to NOT do any of those things you just mentioned? Why would I want to check stock level and manage a shop in a FANTSY game? Give me heoric quest and I will be happy with it.
