I agree.  If Far Cry 2 gets positive reviews then I will defeinitely be picking it up along with Bioshock.  I already have LBP Preordred. :)

Now nobody can say ps3 has no games ;)
There are games, but there is not enough money to get them all

Its all about planning.  Every year its the same thing, they release all the good games in the Fall.  I put aside money for a couple of months to be able to buy all the games I want, and now thats they are starting to release I am sitting pretty. :)

Lol, you make no sense man. But fine, I won't mention achievements to you.

Oh wait.

But it's too late to be an achievement whore.

People already have 30 and 40k in points.  :'(

and somepeople already have 200-300 trophies!

But there's only 8 Trophy enabled games right now, not 400 or so Retail 360 games, plus another 400 or so Arcade games ^_^

Almost all of you look quite happy about exclusive contents for one platform or the other, well, I'm not, as there are only two possibilities, the first is that additional contents changes the main storyline, and I wouldn't like that this was changed by the platform I play a game on, the other is that the exclusive content is totally accessory and sidequest, this would be quite pointless, the only exclusive I find acceptable and not spoiling for multiplatform games is timed exclusive.

I'll get LBP first, then BioShock, then maybe Far Cry 2 after the steady flow of amazing games SLOWS DOWN. I have plenty of standard FPS on my PS3, don't need another. Besides, I'm getting R2 so that's ANOTHER FPS (albeit a very different one).

Eternal Sonata just looks horrible. It should get the PS3 some Japan sales though. Oh wait. It was released in Japan two and a half weeks ago >.>

Of course none of these games are "regardless of everything" purchases.
If I discover that BioShock has a 6/10 on GameSpot/IGN because they only put 10% of the game in and an hour in it just fades to black, I'm not getting it. That won't happen, it's just an example, but still. Between LBP and BioShock I'll look at scores and prices.

EDIT: On checking, BioShock for 360 and Far Cry 1 both have incredible critical acclaim, but BioShock's reception is no doubt better. 96 on metacritic vs. 89 on metacritic. IGN 9.7 vs. IGN 9.2. Not to say Far Cry 2 won't be incredible, and also it's not a port, so it will do much better than BioShock

Has any port actually ever sold well? Look at Oblivion for the PS3. Incredible game, best RPG currently available, and it has 700k sales. I'd put BioShock around there as well- maybe a mil if it's lucky. LBP and Far Cry 2 will both soar up to over 3 million sales, imo.

Sheesh... That's some nice spacing of game releases. Good Luck on them.. I loathe the as***** that made that happen.

I still do want both of these games (Eternal Sonata more so, since Bioshock is on the comp), but there's no way I'm paying full price for it. When I can probably get the other 2 games for ~$30 new on the 360, it doesn't seem worth it at all.

I don't care about Fair Cry and I was gonna buy LBP on day one but won't anymore because of Eternal Sonata.
