Does anyone actually like the way that looks on the box?

I really don't like the way it looks, It would look much better without it. IMO.

Who were the first people to do this? I can only remeber N64 doing it.

It looks stupid. Simple ugly text. They couldve made a little logo or something.

That is why I pre-ordered Little Big Planet from Gamecrazy, so I can hide the ugliness of the "Only for Playstation" writing inside a burlap pouch.

N64, GC, Xbox, and Xbox 360 have all had this.

Usually all systems but the leader have this, done in an attempt to make that console look a bit more attractive compared ot the rest.  I would also assume that this is why Wii titles don't have this label, when N64 and GC titles did.

Has anyone notice that the losing systems have the only on? Like the gamecube had while the ps2 and wii don't.

Your right. I just tried to find a PS2 game and/or Wii game that had that written on them. No luck. They have enough success where they know they don't need to flaunt the fact on their games.
