I have a upscale DVD player works just for me for now!! Blue ray movies need to come down I can get Iron Man for $13.00 on DVD

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Sure right now you can find plenty of DVD for 5$, but do you really think doing that over the long run is a susbtainable business seeing how much it cost to make a movie ? To be honest it looks more to me like a clearance sale to make room for new products...

PS : The Blue Ray was 25.99$ at Best Buy but they were out of stock :( I had to fork 30$ for it at WallMart..

Still expensive but new Blue Ray releases were 33$ at Best Buy 9 months ago so the price is going down.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Iron Man was a great film. With the summer films coming out now it could be a good time for blu-ray. I personally wont splash out on them, but i hope someone will!

I bought 1 Blue Ray in last 9 months and I have 5-6 titles on my shopping list in the next 2 months, it's a great time..

They only track market shares, not actual sales number...

the answer is me, wait till next week. The numbers should be in. I dont track numbers but my source does normally have numbers for out of every 100 copies X sold this sold this amount.

I'm not only buying Blue Ray for the HD by the way.

I have found out over the last year that the huge majority of Blue Ray have a french soundtrack whereas this is not so often the case for DVD( especially Disney which pretty much doesn't support french on its Blockbusters on DVD anymore ).

This is very usefull for me as I need movies to watch in french when my parents come to visit me in the US :P ( yes I am french and live in the US).

Ratatouille and Pirates of the Caraibs 3 DVDs had no french, the BlueRay did.....
