well how much did it sell?

By January. They are only about 4m short and last year from Oct-Dec they sold ~4m consoles. Figure they will have a marginal increase over last year it should be passed 24.76m probably a week before xmas.

I expect 30% increase upon Xmas sales last year. So in October -December quarter 360 sells around 5 million.

I would have to agree with Supernova82, due to the recent price cuts.

4 million sales in Oct / Nov / Dec is definitely possible, infact the 360 did over 4 million in this time frame last year whilst being at a higher price point and it has been tracking above last year so far.

I think 4.5 - 5 million is very likely.

PS3 is unlucky in one sense as the credit crunch is not going to help it and so the 360 could steal away some potential PS3 purchases (much less likely to steal Wii purchases).

I will say sometime in December they should pass Xbox sales. Anyone know how much they need to pass Xbox NA LTD?
