Those cheap NES knockoff from Asia with '1000 games' in 1 cartridge (which is just the same game 1000 times).

This. Also had Zelda, Monopoly, Karate Kid, Friday the Thirteenth, Cabbage Patch Kids, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Jeopardy. Good times.
Pixel Art can be fun.
The first place where I played games was in my 486 in 1993 (Prince of Persia, Monkey Island, Wolfenstein 3D, etc), but the first console properly said I owned (if you don't count playing GameBoy games in an emulator) is when I bought a PS1 in 2002

first played: Legend of Zelda:Majora's Mask on my friend's N64.
first owned: MLB 06 for PS2
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

First system I played was some Atari monstrosity....playing Pitfall if I remember correctly and sucking quite hard at it if I remember that correctly as well.
First system I owned was the old NES.
