Forums - Nintendo - OMG will the nintendo hate never end

I was laughing the other day as I was forced to watch a movie about the enviornment featuring Al' Gore.

I laughed because he made clear something that happens way too often, media outlets present opinions as facts, I won't dare to word what was worded far too well, you guys can check that movie out if you want.

It's the part about the Tobaco Industry and scientists all saying tobaco causes cancers when smoked, then a news article where the author poses him/herself as an authority in a group of other authorities (fictional group) and states that he doesn't believe that tobaco causes lung cancer.

Another bloke calls it the hardcore narrative, I call it fanaticism or zealism. The end result is disaster.

The other day I heard an employee at a game store saying that games wouldn't exist like how they do today without the PS2. Of course this same guy tells me to toss my Wii out of a window and that Nintendo is killing the industry. (He tells everyone this.)

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Nintendo isn't killing the industry. It's just mostly boring. The Wii broadened the market so much that the game industry is not the same as it was before. Meaning, its harder for those of us who like certain types of games of a certain type of quality. The Wii just doesn't deliver. You'll find 5 games out of a couple hundred to play.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I like Nintendo I don't mind the Wii as long as it doesn't take demand away from my much adored HD gaming.

Nintendo is in 1st Place this gem so hate realy comes with the territory .

@dharh

Huh? What's with these opinion pieces? You are aware that what you said applies to everyone in only the general sense and not as grossly specific as you made it out to be.

I'm saddened though that you still persued such a stance regardless of the post directly above you and even more saddening is that your post seemed to be in response. Expressing an opinion to defend such a stance...

The worst part is I would know your stance very well, your tell is Poser Poseur.

2) Quality> Quantity. That is something that Nintendo is also saying for the last generations: (EGM issue 98)

I like how this retort comes up in every single "which console is the RPG console" discussion, completely ignoring that almost every single JRPG this gen has been torn apart in reviews.

Indeed, quality over quantity.

trestres... you're such an amazing... crybaby.

First, and for the record, for any game that's released on the Wii, there IS a better HD version. Save for, perhaps, SWTFU... every sports game, for example, is superior on the HD consoles.

Second, you say that there's a rain of RPG's being released on the Wii. Do any of those games, save for Tales of Symphonia 2 have anything on the 360's RPG's? (I use the 360 because it has the best RPG library for now). Yeah, I thought so too.

Third, "the HD fanboys are out to bring our games down!!" argument is really getting old. While you're running around screaming about it, the HD fanboys actually are actually playing games, and have lots of stuff coming for them this christmas.

As for the DS, no complaints here, hands down the best handheld ever.

So please, cut the crying.

I stopped reading here.

Here's your example, Pro Evolution Soccer.

I will continue to read your post, and analyse your mistakes.

Edit: For your second point. Here come the list wars.

Fragile

Kizuna

New Tales game

Whatever Square-Enix has in the works (you know it's coming, it's undeniable)

Arc Rise Fantasia

Oboro

Monster Hunter

There's probably more, I don't follow this as much as some others here, and all of these are probably without having to moneyhat. Nintendo are getting some really strong support in this area, you trying to question it was pretty stupid on your part.

And for your third point, you wouldn't be here arguing with people if what you're saying holds any weight. All sides of the console WARZ are going through a weak spell right now. Don't pretend you're having some sort of blast on whichever console you own.

Thank you and good night.

Don't bother if you pay attention to his directives he did use trestres name for the first sentence but the first sentence but that’s the only sentence that was directed at him. Everything else was him reassuring himself of something.

In other words for the most part Xen is talking to himself.

I got that impression. I won't bother next time, just express my disbelief with a reactionary image.
