i was hoping for one new wii game announcemnt and instead i got tons. yet nintendo stilllll gets hated! here are some of the stupid hate/ignorant comments ive encounted, feel free to post nay youve encounted

the conference was all for new DS, nothing for wii(plain wrong)

this conference confirms that all we are getting next  year are mini game titles(plain wrong)

nintendo should be focusing more on DS2 than making a new model with slight differences( yes bcos PSP3000 obvioulsy has huge updates)

nintnendo is greedy by only giving us 500 points when a friend buys a wii ( surely 500 points is better than 0 points)

DSi! thats just a blatant rip off of the iPhone (i think the 'i' refers to the 2 cameras)

i dont see anything there that satisfies me a core gamer( yeha i know its just a point of view but its one i really dont understand)

punch-out will suck as they will make you use the wiimote (would be a wasted opprtunity if they didnt)

punch out should be wiiware ( youd prfer the game to be much smaller?)

so all we get is 2 C class franchises, nintendo truly have gone all casual ( ignores all new IP and third party)

nintendo has abandoned those who have loved them since  the NES ( seems to be Pubch out and Sin &Punishment 2 are aimed entirely at that crowd)

ill only be happy when i get starfoxwii/f-zero wii/ 2D metroid (seriously im a ninty fanboy as well but i can apprciate that nitnendo can fulfill everysingle fanboys dream

welcome to the internet, now just so you know your defending Nintendo by attacking the hardly-core, meaning you automatically lose your gamer ID... I believe the method to remove the ID involves rubber gloves and you holding your ankles without bending your knees.

Boo fracking hoo...if you like your Nin Wii/DS great...others are allowed to have their own opinions without worrying about your feelings.

The DS upgrades ARE regressive in many ways (no GBA, worse battery life, worse screen (same res but larger means worse looking)

Wii games were mainly expected

Wii storage solution is SD cards...in 2008/09 that is the best they could do

etc etc etc...

@ OP If you went to Gamespot looking for intelligence, you might rethink that gameplan.

Well, you can't please everyone I guess and some people are just ignorant and/or stupid.

People will always hate the top dog no matter what they do. Regardless of whether Nintendo plays the rest of the year out perfectly and continues to announce awesome titles not far from release, there will still be fans of other companies, like Sony, who are very bitter because of how far Sony has fallen and they'll slag down on everything Nintendo due to them taking Sony's old place.

In fact, Nintendo has become more powerful than Sony during Sony's video game golden age.

thats what im talking about, only 1 of those announced games was 'expected' and that wa spunch out. there were hardly any rumours about sin & punishment 2 or the new IPs. Plus its not like people have to buy the new DS. comments such as 'i still prefer PS3 games' or 'wii is still my least faveorite console' are fine, its the ignorance that annoys me
