ckmlb, I agree with you, my predictions (the same as yours) were exceded by a solid 30K, but I have also lost my faith in the 300K first month number.  Not that I think the PS3 is doomed in Japan or anything.

No I meant I expect it to exceed 300k now for the month, not that I believe it won't meet it. :)

If the system sales boost had been higher than 40K I would have thought so, but it wasn't very high, so I'm droping my month sales down to 280K, lifetime 400-500K.

How do you know about hardware sales if they arent even in yet for japan or anywhere for that matteR?
