A little bird told me 175k MNG5 and 38k PS3s for the week.
So according to the famitsu news article.....would the 40k PS3's be factored into the HSG software or would we need to add them together?

Your line has been crossed, by quite a bit in fact. You missed by 30K systems sold and 45K copies of software sold. By the original idea of the topic in this post: By your predictions the PS3 is in trouble.

My prediction was actually exceeded, now to wait for the monthly numbers, but I don't think it won't meet the 300k monthly number anymore.

Hmm... Nope. I'm not disappointed. I expected more. It's true but I feel good. Obviously you (I?) are (am) right - PS3 in Japan is in trouble. HSG5 made difficult situation a bit better though. Not a saviour I'd like to meet but still... Thank you for your attention.
