I think they said a new pikimin was in the works...not remakes.

 ya, i think there will be a new pikmin coming out aswell. why else try to revive the first 2 already?

I guess it's cool to remake Pikmin and incorporate waggle, but I kinda feel bad for Pikmin fans who wanted a new game. Hopefully, they are making that as well, because remaking everything on Gamecube for Wii wouldn't be very satisfying to me at least. Let's hope!

Easy money? Like the RE remakes and the Klonoa remake.  And if there is a Pikmin 3 on the way why didn't they announced it yet or just showed us something?

All the games announced are ripoffs except Pikmin 2. Pikmin 2 generally goes for $35 used on Ebay, so paying 39.99 (lets use American dollars for this instance) for a new copy with Wii controls is a pretty good deal.

The reason why it was not announced is most likely because it is not ready for spring. Nintendo new business plan seems to be show titles that can be out within 6-9 months. If you look at the list of game announced..I think almost all of them are this year or early next year.

They are not really remakes, more of a port. Anybody thinking of getting Pikmin, skip it and just get Pikmin 2.

I wouldn't assume quite yet this will come out outside of Japan.

This kind of thing works in Japan but it's not as neccesary elsewhere. It's the same reason why RE0 and REmake were released.
