Forums - Nintendo - So this is how Nintendo treats it's loyal customers?!

For me Sin and Punishment is the biggie. I LOVE that game. Dmeister and anyone else with a wii that hasn't played it, go DL it off the virtual console. It was a japan only release that got translated for the VC so many years later and is still a kick ass game, it's aged very well. The thought of insane choreographed action and chaos in awesome anime style using the wiimote to point and shoot is enough to force spittle to form on my chin.

Punch out I don't care as much about, I played both punchout and super punchout and they just weren't my kind of game. But if it's something above and beyond (say using the balance board and wii motion plus) then I will totally be on board.

A new mothership Tales title is also music to my ears since I'll miss Vesperia, and there we many many other things to be happy about. This is what Nintendo's E3 should've been. It has kicked ass and written names down on a list.

Almost seems like a misleading title

It's not. I just played up on the fact that everybody seeing it would automatically consider it to have negative connotations. It actually perfectly matches what the topic is about.

Wait.. there's more conferences to go? This could prove interesting, as the announced titles have already made for good news for the Wii's future.

There's a conference in America today, which will unveil any of the Japanese conference that are also relevant to the US, plus we're all hoping for some good western themed games to be showcased from thid parties and maybe even Nintendo themselves. Then we have TGS later this month, which Nintendo isn't attending, but plenty of Japanese publishers are with their Wii titles. So expect this month to go very well for Nintendo in regards to announcements.

I'm hoping to hear a Fatal Frame and Disaster NA release date. =D

Haha, yeah, you're right!

I'm still trying to get over the excitement from the fall conference. I'd like a new Paper Mario like Paper Mario 64 and TTYD. A new Zelda would be nice too (that's my hearts desire)! =D

Baten Kaitos! YES!!!!!!

I would love to see an Eternal Darkness sequel on the Wii. Hell, I even made a post about it the other day. =)

WELL for a fan point of view the announcements sure are "megaton" thats what I think I mean, 15 games announced in one conference by a first party thats sure alot.

In reality, asides from Mario and Zelda I think theres nothing Ninty could offer as a "megaton" most of their games asides from Mario and Zelda are just niche titles with decent fanbase just like the Metal gear series. Golden Sun, F-Zero, Mother, Starfox, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, Kirby, etc... are niche titles even the games that are in Gamecube like Pikmin. If not, Ninty could win the console war in the Gamecube days. Lets just be happy that Ninty revive some of their franchise.

About third parties as to why theres no KH3 on the Wii, or Resident Evil or Devil May Cry series or Soul Calibur on the Wii, most of those said titles are from the Playstation days, and the Wii userbase are different than the Playstation. CAPCOM already done it with Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube but it dont feel right atleast for the fans of the PS2 for a Resident Evil game to be on the Gamecube. Thats why it didnt sell well and they ported it on the PS2.

So Im afraid we will never see a established Playstation franchise like Devil may cry or Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Wii for months to come. We might aswell enjoy the new Ips that is on the Wii right now...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I can't wait to read how "Nintendo's killing the industry" next week.
