Well FABLE 2 is rather an elite-gamer game with deep gameplay. It will appeal to a smaller audience.

LBP on the other hand benefits from its hype and also the fact that PS3 community is still expecting some "flagship games" (Like Killzone 2 and MGS4 which finally arrived after several delay).

LBP will win. But this thread is nonsens because this isn't games you can compare

Totally different games, each exclusive with little to no chance to influence the other IMHO so not much else to say...

I believe I read somewhere Fable 2 has 1.8 million prorders now. Cant remember which magazine. Anyhow. 600,000 is very low estimate for a game which sold previously over 3 million.

Fable 2 first week 1.2 million. LT 4-5million.

CoD 4 did 1M 1st week.  Gears did 900K first week.

I could be wrong, but 1.2M seems a bit optimistic.

Fable 2 by far imo. I personally think LBP will be a flop well see.

I imagine Fable II will sell more initially. I would not be shocked, however, if LBP outsold it within the first few weeks. From all accounts that I have read about LBP, it is going to live up to its hype.

I think fable 2 is going to outsell LBP eventually.
