I agree with you, IE6 doesnt contain half the modern web standards then IE7 which of course doesnt come close either but w/e.

Does this mean that 30% still haven't updated their computers in years. I thought IE7 was a mandatory install when ur computer gets updated?

It's not trolling when you consider how IE7 is much better than IE6.

However, this website tracks people interested in learning how to program websites... They are more likely to know about Chrome than the average Joe.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Chrome has quite a few problems in its early stage, but speed is not one of them.. it is at least 3 times faster than firefox 3, in my experience at least

I'd say give it some time and see if these changes are long term. Who knows how many people have downloaded it, installed it, and used it, only to stop using it since. Long term sustained increases in marketshare will be signs of it making progress.

I'm still waiting for the Linux version so I can test it.
