Yea brawl is different but melee is better... though if brawl wasn't different I'd probably still be using Shiek as I'd still be able to cause butt hurt with her. Of course that's because L canceling was amazing, the only thing I'm happy that they got rid of in Brawl is S guarding, that super armor effect become super annoying.

L-cancling is so good. Taking it out along with combos was just stupid, but this is lame ass Nintendo we're talking about. All they know casual now.

Yea, but well maybe they will realize they screwed up some of the thrill of playing Brawl by taking away the depth in melee and smash bros.

Some people don't believe me when I say to them Brawl isn't like Melee at all.

Melee is one of the best games ever. Brawl is a good game, but there are 100 games that are better. Any game that has worse game play than its predicesor cannot get a higher score, no matter how many goodies and how much fluff is added. I really wish meta Knight had been in melle; he would have been ridiculously fast with wavedshing and l canceling.

Nintendo has pretty much dumbed down every series on Wii excpet Zelda and Metroid. Mario was dumbed down too; but his games are easy enough that it doesn't really matter... but adding in forced motion control and linear level design on top of that made me unhappy with SMG. Also IMO, DD>MKW.

Does anyone like the original smash the best? I don't, but its a really fun game.

I liked Saffron City the best out of any stage, that was the first big stage ever, and man was it played the most within my group of friends.

I was silently hoping that stage would make a come back in Melee as well as a Diddy Kong insert in Melee... Brawl gave me Diddy but not Saffron...
