We were just told today that our school would be holding a Wii Wimbledon Event & a wii Olympics Event.

The Wii Balance board will be used for the olympics event.....& Wii Sports Tennis for the Wii Wimbledon Event!

I tried to convince them to add in a SSBB event so maybe the hardcore console owners in our school (basically the whole sixth form [year 12,13] as they diss the wii a lot) could enjoy.....but the game is apparently "violent"....WTF!

anyways I will definetely be going for it....I will be "lending" my wii balance board to the school.

There will be junior (Year 7,8).....Senior School (YEar 9,10,11) & Upper School (Year 12, Year 13) sections.....so basically it won't be unfair on the little Year 7's who seem to get shorter every year

Hopefully I will win....as prize is a HMV voucher of £10!

That's pretty cool. My school never did any events like that..

It just shows how mainstream the wii is.....

my school otherwise hated the PS360.....all the teachers believed that GTA 4 was some sort of a virus game that corrupted childrens minds!

there is actually 1 person that fat in our school.

there are 2 Wii Balance Boards that are gonna be used...

if my one breaks I will return it with full moneyback....I was planning on selling it anyway!

My school did have a PES competition, and we always bring in consoles to play PES on the last day of term, but nothing on this scale

look the teachers are extremely narrow minded....anything apart from WIi Fit & Wii sports will definetely be pushing it....lol

But MK Wii may have worked....its just I hate it + will enevr play it....+ now I need to pretend to hate it even more as its outselling SSBB weekly :)

The only remote competition in my school is "Who is smartest?" It involves everyone in the advanced math course. Apparently, I am winning.
