You should really play Sonic Chronicles. If you fight enemies you don't level up and you don't get money from battles so you can't buy stuff. That's going against the logic of RPGs, isn't it? Also, it feels like a Square-Enix RPG in that it is so boring that I feel like stopping to play it before I finish it. Is it really so hard to believe for you that Bioware made a game which is broken? |
I'll probably wind up picking up a DS (after a few other things) and hopefully with Black Sigil (it will EPIC!). I may pick up Sonic Chronicles at that time. As for logic in RPGs... I'm becoming happier and happier the less I can apply it. I'm kind of tired of the same old stuff. If a game is going to try something a bit differently, I'm fine with that. It may or may not work out, but there's no reason not to keep an open mind. I don't know if the game is really as hard as you think it is or if you're just missing some part of the gameplay or what or if it might actually be a slightly less than stellar game. I'm giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt though.
And yes, it is hard to believe Bioware made a broken game. Bethesda or Obsidian? Sure. Bioware? No.
Anyway, if you're not having fun then stop playing. That's the purpose of gaming. Ebay it to someone who will enjoy it and buy something you'd enjoy more.
