I'll probably wind up picking up a DS (after a few other things) and hopefully with Black Sigil (it will EPIC!).  I may pick up Sonic Chronicles at that time.  As for logic in RPGs... And yes, it is hard to believe Bioware made a broken game.  Bethesda or Obsidian?  Sure.  Bioware?  No.

Anyway, if you're not having fun then stop playing.  That's the purpose of gaming.  Ebay it to someone who will enjoy it and buy something you'd enjoy more.

The game isn't really hard (most of the difficulty comes from stupid design choices) and I already figured out how to play it. Avoid all regular battles which makes perfect sense.

You know, avoiding battles might explain the whole "not leveling/gaining money" part.  Just saying...
