I've noticed a trend in fre gadget giveaways Wii's , Xbox 360's , PS3's even TV's with mobile phone contracts , T-Mobile is heavily promoting a free 80gb PS3's with an 18 month phone contract deal.

Does VGchartz track this ? it's already quite big in the UK and I can imagine it'll become even more popular as time passes.

And not only this but other kinds of giveaways and special offers that give people free consoles.

I would assume that these aren't huge, as they are only avaliable from select places on expensive contracts?

I think they are more common than given credit for , my aunty got a free PS3 with her mobile phone contract I don't think £40 a month would be considered too expensive as people pay that much for brand new phones on contract such as the Iphone.
