Demand for the Wii is clearly falling. Its below 50% WW for the first time in a long while. I'm not surprised at all, actually. I'm sure the 360 price drop plays some part in it, as well.
360 is at $199 now......& THIS is the response....its cheaper/equal to the frikkin wii now people
Wooh sales way down this week. Weird haha. I really can't explain it because usually numbers start ramping up by September. Oh well.
Hmm Wii got a low shipment this week, wonder what Nintendo plans to do with all those stockpiled systems.

Sony can only cut prices so much. The top end PS3 is already $200 less than its launch price which was less then two years ago. I am not sure Sony can afford to cut the PS3's price.

geez people - how many times do you have to be reminded price isn't everything. if it was the GC would have beat the ps2 last gen.
Wii isnt doing awesome like usual. I think X's discount is def. workin away at it.

Don't do this.....you'll make the PS3 fanboys cry when they finally realize that a $299 PS3 won't help them conquer Nintendo either.

but even the Ps3's price drop last year in NA (forget the brilliant YOY effect of the EU price drop) had a FAR BETTER effect.....I am shell-shocked
Slow week all around. In the end all the wannabe analysts are probably wrong. What I mean is that some people are over analyzing factors like crisis, price cut, demand, title X launch, stockpiling, yadda, yadda, yadda.
