Final Fantasy XIII.

I need more information about Versus. Its made by the Kingdom Hearts team, I just hope its not like Kingdom Hearts.

I really enjoyed the direction they took with XII (besides the story) so I'm looking much more forward to XIII. I'm sure Vs will be good, but no other game gets me excited like a new FF main title.

I'm not really waiting for either one since they won't be here until 2010 anyways.

To be fair there were some members who preferred FF versus XIII before FFXIII went multi. 'It is made by the KH team?' ' COOL it will be better than FFXIII!!

Oh well...

I am TOTALLY a Sony Fanboy. And chance I come by, I indirectly say M$ can burn in hell. Seriously.

But I always looked forward to FFXIII regardless of the non-exclusivity. It's VERY unfortunate that it went to the 360; actually some of me died inside, but I like games with color. Color is what does it for me. Versus is too dark. And I'm hella not playing XIII on a 360 because I'd be getting TOO much color, what with the extra Red after 2 weeks.

I also think VERSUS XIII will be better than XIII

I'll be glad to get my hands on either of them, and since XIII is coming out before versus then I'll be waiting for XIII more, but I do have to add that I think Versus "looks" better because of the dark atmosphere and the characters look better to...(the main character kinda reminds me of Cloud, just by the way he looks, not sure about personality)

About the same for both ....maybe I like a little more the Versus main protagonist and setting.

Heh, this is actually my reasoning as well, along with the fact that Versus seems to be fully an action RPG.

I think this game will be far better (or at least CAN be far better) and I say that even if it somehow ends up on the 360. My favorite Square games are Parasite Eve 1 and 2. Among non Square modern setting games I also love the Persona series and find stories told in a half modern setting (including some Final Fantasies, VII for instance or X to an extent) to be far more interesting and fleshed out then primarily medieval settings. I find the traditional sword and sorcery RPG to be pretty played out (yes that includes sword and sorcery plus very limited tech thrown in there like FFVI) and think Versus will be far more interesting. Parasite Eve showed that a modern setting is more a path to freedom then a restraint.

As for the 360 part I really could care less, I would rather have it for the PS3 any day since the PS3 isn't a crap system. It isn't so loud that I have a hard time hearing dialogue when its running, it doesn't overheat and require repairs, it's free to access online features ect ect. People who act like a few games going to both equalizes things are just being silly. That is like saying because both can access the highway BMWs and Kias are the same. If every game was on both I'd still rather pay the extra 100 dollars to get the superior PS3.
