That actually looks feasible. They could implement ALL of these changes with the DS (1) specs - so all software would be fully compatible.

Music playback --> internal memory?

I'm seriously expecting Nintendo to go down the same road as Apple - start releasing iterative upgrades to the hardware (including increased on-board memory). This makes a "soft" transition between the DS & DS II very possible.

We'll find out in about 3 days I believe - the Oct 2(?) news event, held in both Japan & US.

(larger screen is just that - a larger screen, running the same resolution- it wouldn't be heaps larger though, just 10%-20% max).

Fixed. But they're only Japanese Newspapers scans. (if somebody know japanese maybe can confirm or bust the translation)

 

The only things I can understand from the scan is DS and Camera. So at least something is legit. Oh, also 20000 yen

Well I can't see anything in the article about the larger screen or transferring data from the wii or SD cards, but the rest of it seems right. Maybe there was another article which had those?

Seems so soon. But if this is true, I don't see the US and Others getting it anytime soon. Sales of the DS are still amazing.
