Today I've bought a WiiPoints card so I can play Megaman 9 on my Wii.

With the rest 1000 wii points I want to buy something about retro stuff.

My choice fall between Lords of Thunder or Ys Book 1&2 both for Pc Engine CD.

What do you suggest me to buy ? and why ?

Ys, hands-down. Love that game so much, and was absolutely thrilled when it finally released. And it's the Turbo-Grafx version!

Yeah, I downloaded Ys 1&2.
Yesterday I played 7 straight hour and I've finished the first episode.
Great game , very addictive.

Ah yeah I laso downloaded MM9 yesterday. But I only played a little bit of it cause Ys.
It kicked my ass and I love it

wow im shocked you really like it some people just don't understand the logic of "just running into enemies" anyway enjoy the game.. it was the first game I ever played that made me shed a tear at the end.. its just got a really nice warm feel that wraps things up nicely. also Ys book I & II has perhaps the best consistently great music ever!!

You should also get Lords of Thunder its an amazing shmup with rockin' soundtrack

Yeah I will buy Lords of Thunder after.

Well it isn't so hard to understand its battle system. Ypu need only to know that if you aren't too strong you need to run into enemies from the side or the back of them.
I like the fast pace of this battle system ( also buy Dragon Quest IV DS )

What saddened me is that we probably will never get a english version of Ys IV dawn of YS on VC cause it was never released outside Japan and from what I saw on youtube it is a really fantastic episode

BTW have someone of you ever played the PC Engine CD versione of Ys III ? How is it ?

Y's has AMAZING music, but some people may not like the gameplay style. Lords of Thunder is a great retro shooter. Can't really go wrong with either choice, IMO. I'm probably one of the few people around here who actually owned both of these games on the Turbo-Grafx.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
