Damn net is conking out on me. Hasn't worked the same since the power outage...
Anyways, I'm no longer on the chat, so ignore the new stof.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

geez, the media seems to be upset with the debate for being too "boring". stupid media and their selfish need for drama.

I'd give McCain a slight win. I don't think he made any real mistakes while Obama made a couple slipups.

He focused too much on the past of Iraq and never adressed why a fixed timetable wouldn't be a problem... and not backing off sending troops into a democratic country was something that were going to turn people off.

I really liked the Debate format too... one of the best i've seen.

Yes, I am stof right now. simply "stof" with the bold orange text. I'm the real deal.

I think it was pretty even, but if I had to give it to some one I'd say McCain. Not for any slip ups by Obama (I think he was solid), but simply because McCain was very aggressive in pursuing his objective (how many times did he call Obama Naive or use the phrase "I don't think he understands"?). We'll see how the public responds in the coming days though.

what would another candidate need to do to get in on the debates?

Have a crapload of support before having the platform nessesary for said support.

That and a debate style that doesn't focus on two candidates.

I don't see this debate plan working with 3rd people.

See i just don't think he was agressive enough.  He was relying on the same plan he used vs Hilary Clinton... but that didn't work against McCain because he doesn't have the disadvantages Hillary did. (People not liking her being such a big part of the Clinton Administration/inherent sexism where agressive women are seen as bitches.)

The next debate i think we'll see him come out a bit more agerssive.
