If you bought your 360 in 2005 and paid for online multiplayer, add 150 dollars to the price

 That’s 550 dollar plus  50 dollars more coming this November.

If you bought a PS3 in 2006 your saving 100 dollars  by not paying for online multiplayer  ..

Every year your  360 cost you more and more and your think you got a good deal because it was  cheaper   

not only that, you need HDD if you bought the arcade to get DLC.
or even online games.

Wow thats sad for SONY. Even though they have the cheaper console and the difference only gets bigger over time, the PS3 still can't outsell the 360. Looks like 360 owners pay more because they want the best gaming system.(games wise)

You don't need a HDD to play online games.  You can't use some features without a HDD, but you can still play online.

or... you can just use your 360 like I do...

never go online.. and never use a harddrive.


Any game I want to play online with, I will buy it on PS3. as for DLC (Guitar Hero gams and such), I will buy it on PS3.

Your logic is irrefutable except for the fact that nobody is required to play online. For another thing those who did pay for the service during that time did receive a number of free downloads of content at no additional charge. I have downloaded free of additional charge something close to fifty dollars worth of content. For the frugal consumer there is a lot of value to be found in Live. Especially if you do not have to have something the day it is released.

Despite what you think a gamer can get a lot of value out of Live beyond the online match making. There is a lot of content to be had if you had bothered to look into it yourself you would probably know that.

IF... I bought mine in 2008 and am not paying for Online multiplayer, so it's $200 cheaper.
