I'm gonna need you to explain yourself on that one.
Why is it that people feel developers are obligated to particularly give the PS3 equal treatment, but they laugh when the Wii, or last gen the Gamecube, got the shaft.
I feel like it was an act of congress I missed when they declared that all consoles were created equal. If it takes them 5 months to work up a PS3 version that might not sell to cover expenses, should they do it anyway to appease owners of that system for future projects? Or, instead, should they simply do a quick and easy 360 port to squeeze some development funds out of the game and avoid the money sink on the console that's not been, and frankly is not going to be, a main source of income for them.
I understand your anger toward the company because you want the PS3 to do well, but you have to understand their view of it as well. They're not playing fanboy wars, and I swear that Valve is one of the few companies that probably values quality over profit(or at least values them equally, because they go hand in hand). They won't styme themselves for several months on PS3 development because of several factors, a major one being that it's boring and repetitive. It's stepping backwards, not moving forward. I wish they would create a new team to move their stuff to the PS3, but I doubt that would be cost effective, since they pride themselves in only putting good stuff out of their doors, and not halfassing ports like EA did.
Also, tangent, why is Left 4 Dead not as hyped as it should be? I bet if it was on the PS3 and PC, instead of 360PC, it would be on every other post. Just an observation. Left 4 Dead is underhyped.
