Mirror's Edge is the worst game to get trophies for, those Speedruns are really playing heavily on my nerves.

Yeah, Mirrors Edge isn't a whores game, but once you get the platinum. I think it's one of the best feelings to be had on a game. Especially if it's the epic ending at the end of the game that your platinum pops up in. :)

How can you like this boring game and annoying protagonist? I realy tried to play this game. FF used to be my favorite franchise. FFVI is the greatest game ever to me. I played FFXII for like 40 hours, but I couldnt care less about the characters and I couldnt care less about the story.

And I only played this long because I didnt want it to become the only FF I didn't finish. I actually liked the real-time battles and hunting monsters. But to me, a JRPG is about character and story, and sadly, this game didnt do it for me.

But, well, there are a lot of crazy people in the world.

PS - I swear, FFVI was so good that everytime I hear a couple of it's songs (Aria di Mezzo Caraterre specially), I cry. Damn, why cant JRPGs be like that anymore?

PS2 - I just rented Prototype. So that should keep me busy for a while.

agreed. i miss the old final fantasy's like 4,7,9. 12 was just terrible and i hated the battle system and i can't even remember the characters they were so bad. sadly, i feel the glory days of FF are behind them. :(

I just realised, I am almost level 7, and I have only 7 gold trophies.

have you been playing games like DW6:E and Resident Evil 5, they have a lot of bronze and little gold.

@Yokimoto: I suppose BioShock was extremely bronze heavy. And then there are games like Unreal Tournament III and Far Cry 2 which I only really have bronzes in because either I've already finished the game and am not going to play it again for trophies or because the game outright sucks so much that it's unplayable.

You can get trophies 2 ways: Play a lot of games and get a lot of bronze trophies or play fewer games but plat almost all of them.

I guess you do it the first way.

There is a 3rd option. You play a lot of games (including crappy games) and plat them all. I call it the "Hannah Montana Whore Gamer" a.k.a. "Jboy0990".
