Why can't these devs make some retroactive patches!! I am not sure I want to play GTA IV all over again...

One of the reasons they can't make the trophies retroactive is because people would just download a save file that has 100% completion, load it up on their PS3, and earn all of the trophies with no effort.

Well actually even Criterion, who had the save files locked to a PSN account could not seem to make their trophies retroactive.... I wish there was a way to stop people doing that so we could have some more retroactive patches, but at the same time I do want to be able to copy files... so useful in PES to get better kits

Well now we can hope that trophies will be available day one for new games so it won't be a problem anymore ^^

Games already released that I´d like to see some patch for trophies:

MGS4 (it woul be really difficult, I´d never get 100%, but i´d be cool), DMC 4, Heavenly Sword and some RPG.... folklore or eternal sonata or valkyrie chronicles.... I want one RPG with trophies!!

So does anyone know now if by beating Bioshock on survivor you get the hard mode trophies too ?

I´m playing in Hard, and after will go all over again just for the two trophies.

I played normal first, didn't want to spoil my enjoyment of the game with my hunt for trophies and I usually always play games first in normal...

Didn't follow any guide either, turns out due to my actions I won't get weapon specialist this run as well as another achievement, but I can get those easilly next clear, either in hard or survivor.

I am however in the process of revisiting every area to get the diaries I missed ( if you save before the end you can revisit pretty much the whole game except 5 diaries but it turns out I had luckily picked those already)

Yesterday I finished the game on Survivor with no Vita-Chambers and it gave me the trophy for Hard with no Vita-Chambers. So yes, all the gold trophies can be earnt in one run.

All I have left for Platinum now is the diaries and the tonics. I plan to rush through on easy with Vita-Chambers for them. My only concern is that I can't find anywhere a list of the locations of the five tonics that are new to the PS3 version. I'm hoping to just stumble upon them.

I got lucky for tonics, at the end of my normal run I was lacking one and it was one already on the Xbox360 version so I was able to go back and grab it...
I'm finishing to grab the diaries ( I didn't miss the 5 you can't go back to, lucky again) and then I guess I will start my survivor no vita chamber run then ( have to grab weapon specialist and another trophy I missed due to killing a little too early someone in game ;))

Hint : if you go back through the game while wearing the suit you assemble before the last boss ( not saying more don't wanna spoil it) nothing attacks you so it make grabbing those diaries/tonics you missed very easy..)
