Yeah Heavy Rain does pick up momentum after the first 2 chapters. Stick with it!

So far Heavy Rain is my favorite game of 2010. I really dug the story, the characters, and the gameplay was so intense because I didn't want to mess up and have any of my characters die. The first time through I was determined to live with all of my consequences like if a character died and I never reloaded my save or backtracked to the previous chapter. It made me on the edge of my seat during any fight scene and the whole experience was so refreshing. God of War III is my current runner-up.

Grrr I messed up last night and lost 4h worth of play of Star Ocean...

I went to kill the last boss again to try to get a BT and forgot I had not saved for 4 hours and when you kill that guy the game ends, your battle trophies file gets updated but your save game file isn't...................

Also finally got platinum in FFXIII last night. Thanks to everyone again for all the helpful tips. It definitely saved me a lot of time. As it is my final playtime was 98:56. A few times I forgot to pause the game letting it sit in the menu while eating dinner though so its not entirely accurate.


Congratz, i'm in 130 hours and still haven´t got all accessories lol.



 

AFFLICTION on 18 May 2010

Well i just got the 3 player ping pong trophy but the trophy description i thought was a little misleading as i thought jumping from 1 guy to the other counted as 1 and i had to do that 5 times then after a while i figured out it was all at once not accumulative

all i need now is to get the seeds and specrtra in the last garden plus a 15 combo the highest i've gotten was a 14 but the trophy doesn't say 1p only so maybe i'll get my bro to help

Played my new Red Dead Redemption Special Edition for about an hour... pretty neat so far. Not sure why some of the reviews say it's not that much like GTA... that's exactly what it's like.
