I have the 360 version, so I cant directly comment, but I dont have a problem with the level design or enemies, and I thought the story was awesome, coming from a star wars fan

Well I beat the Wii version. After you get a handle on the controls, it's a fun little action game. Flinging your lightsaber into storm troopers chest, then launching another one off the edge with the force is pretty cool. The story was better than I thought, but I thought it was going to be god-awful. Lot of elements could have been fleshed out a lot better, and the acting is lousy, but It did manage to maintain my interest untill the very end, and has some decent fanservice in the last boss fights. Maybe it was because that Clone Wars movie further lowered my expectations, but I enjoyed it.
Duel mode is horribly unbalanced, but still fun anyways. Me and my sister thought it was a lot of fun.
I haven't played the HD version outside of the demo, I'd persume it's more for someone who wants to watch a movie judging from all the complaints about the rigid gameplay. Also it's supposeably missing some levels that the non-HD version has.
I'd describe myself as a bitter Star Wars fan. Use to be into a lot more when I was younger, but after the new triology and my falling out with Galaxies, I don't feel it like I use to.
I returned the Wii version which I hated for its shitty graphics and unreliable controls. I got the PS3 version which I now LOVE! Not every game needs to have open free-roaming environments, multiplayer and be 40 hours long. I can just as easily appreciated a tightly packed, linear destruction-fest. This game, IMO, is far better than the reviews would have you believe. My best advice to you is to know what you like as a gamer (this goes for any game) and buy games that fit that. Use reviews only as a reference, not as the final deciding factor for purchase.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
It`s a great game, but if you are not sure, rent it first. I`m not a SW fan,but a hack&slash one,so this game was great to me.
Ok, maybe i'll rent it first, then, i'll buy it.

Seems like it's the quintessential rental just because of its (lack of) length. Me I might just buy the book instead. :P

Buy it if you're a Star Wars fan. It's a lot of fun. The Wii version has more levels, a duel mode, and motion controls so you tell me which one sounds better. I know that it's not as pretty but...

Its definitely worth it. I've played through the PS3 version a few times now, trying to find all of the Jedi Holocrons. While I did have some minor problems with the game, overall, I thought it was definitely a very good game, and well worth the price. For a Star Wars fan, at least. =)
