i'm actually very intrested in my sims..a departure from the old formula can only be good news..it looks more like an adventure game then a traditional sim game..
IGN lost it a long time ago, the only exist because of it's popular forums, which is amongst the most popular on the whole internet.
Hows this for sad, you must PAY to be a member in order to have an avatar on IGN :/
