Forums - Nintendo - Sonic Rush is Sega's NSMB

I actually didn't care for the top-down GTA...I didn't when it came out, still don't....it's too hard to see what's coming ahead...though I'd probably buy a DS version in an instant as well, simply because the game is fun, I'll admit.

I have yet to play Sonic Rush. I love the old Sonic games...I should try it out...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Around the Network

I agree about Sonic Rush being a great game, but after playing it I didn't decide to buy it for the same reason I didn't buy NSMB.

Both feel like small experiences where the replayability is just playing the game over and over again and I think there are lots of other games I wanna play that have a lot more to them than just that experience, including on the DS.

Don't get me wrong, I thought both were great as rentals but not something I would buy because I don't feel I get enough out of it beyond the relatively short experience that is fun but not as good as other games out there.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

One thing that expands both games playbility quite well is the multiplayer. With single card play, my girlfriend and I have gotten a lot time out of NSMB, and though we've only tried it once, Sonic's multiplayer (you get to race eachother in the levels) worked really well and I'm positive we'll be doing a lot more of it.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

True ckmlb, I haven't really felt playing them again after I beat them last summer, and both are fairly short. The weird thing is that probably NSMB is shorter, but Sonic Rush feels shorter because it only has 14 stages if I remember correctly.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)
