Ratchet & Clank. Nuts and bolts look good though

Around the Network

The title really should be Banjo (Nintendo 64 & 360 fans) vs Ratchet (Playstation fans).

R&C series is better than Banjo... sorry Banjo fans. I like em both, but I'd stick with R&C in the desert island scenario.

Banjo by a mile.

I have only played rachet and clank: size matters, but it is the worst game I have for PSP. Ok graphics, terrible textures, poor controls, average level design, collecting tons of useless weapons, collecting tons of tiny screws that are endless and take no challenge to collect and are quickly used up to buy more semi-worthless weapons... crappy platformerish sections... rachet is just a bad game imo. ToD looked pretty sweet though, from the trailer I saw it looked like a cross between sonic adventure 2 (showed lots of rail grinding) and star wars battlefront (combat system)

Banjo Kazooie, on the other hand, is awsome. Tooie betrayed the forumla and added crap; witchy world is a great example. You can jump around on that tent and turn into a car to drive faster, and there is stuff to collect on the car path and on the tent. But all around there are endless mini games, and in the big tent itself is a drawn out boss fight. Nuts and Bolts will be more of the same (more useless changes) but should still be really fun. BK arcade is going to rule!

1. Ratchet and Clank size matters was not made by Insomniac (the 2nd best Sony devs {I know Sony dont own them})
2. It is a PSP game, very different to the full game
3. It is nothing like battefront, it is a platformer with awesome weapons, and there are only really rails for that level, it is more of an action platformer on the most part.
4. ToD had the groovitron, the most awesome game ever

Ratchet has sold 1.33m, and I would assume it has had a small boost due to its release as a platinum in America, and hopefully QfB has helped a bit but I doubt that.... Anyway, I think it should go up to close to 1.5m at best, as it sold about 10k last week, so hopefully it will get a small holiday boost as well

Also, Banjo is being released in mid november, and by that time, most of the huge games will be out, and people will be busy with them. I know that it is not really going head to head with games like Gears, but I am sure some people might get Gears instead (or Fable more likely) and even stuff like Mirror's Edge is going to take away from its sales, so I dont think it will do that well. It should make 1m, but not that much over

Oh yeah, and insomniac are so awesome their game deserves to sell better

R&C eclipses Banjo... that's how better it is.

I like both but I think Banjo will get better review scores and sell better at $39
Plus u can tell I love Banjo by my sig

the r&c series is good and the new R&C is by far the best game on the ps3....but ill have to go with Banjo atm. i guess it really depends on how the new game is...i think its looking pretty good though.

You realise that Size matter was not made by Insomniac right ?

I say R&C just because I don't grab the concept of Nuts & Bolts.

Ratchet.

I find banjo a bit lame now....
