I read in the Microsoft forum that people think that LBP will sell more then Fable 2. I myslef there is no way that this should happen. SO could someone who dissagress with me tell me the reasons why It should?

I think that Fable 2 will sell more becuase of 5.3m+ Lager user base and the fact that people already no more about fable becuase of the fact that this is the second game.

I think lbp will sell more, no rpg has sold over 3m on 360. obviously fable will sell more than 3 million but i think lbp can sell 7- 10 million

Fable 1 sucked, so you may factor that into your calculation. LBP is a casual game on a console which costs nearly as much as a PC, factor that in the equation. Major Fail on both sides, yet they will probably sell. Interesting huh? Pointless thread, might as well be locked before it takes off.

Please don't makes these X vx Y threads unless you have good reason too. Just comparing random games that are to be released is not very good discussion. All it does is egg on fanboys.

Fable 2 will sell more by the end of this year. LBP will sell more lifetime.

Fable 2 will beat out Oblivion(2.55M) as the top selling RPG for the 360. It should sell more that Fable 1 (2.6M). I would expect 3 to 4 Million for Fable 2. The biggest thing hold back sales on the 360 is that it is not a shooter.

LBP will appeal to a much larger demographic. The smaller PS3 user base will keep it from beating Fable2 this year, but it should have long legs. Everything I have heard from reviewers about the game and creation system has been amazingly positive.

I am guessing that LBP will be bundled with the PS3 holiday 09. That alone should push sales above Fable2.

Anyway, in my opinion LBP is going to have decent sales, but it going to be the legs that makes this games so successful. and if the game is advertised right then it could have a goo opening week aswell.

Fable 2 will take '08, but LBP will come out on top lifetime. Fable 2 will have a strong start because it's a sequel to a pretty well known game, while LBP will have very long legs, riding very positive word of mouth.

 Im not comparing these games against ech other i was just wondering the reasons why people thought LPB will sell more then Fable 2....And these are not 2 random games either they are 2 fairly(or are supposed to be) Huge games on PS3 and 360.
