Well i think the title says it all.  I simply die all the time. I have passed the game in normal, but went straight in hypermode instead of playing in veteran XD. some suggestions to defeat Dark Samus ?

Haven't played Prime 3 in a long time. All I remember is Dark Samus was a royal pain on Hypermode. Seemed like spamming shots instead of actually using the charged shot wittled down her health faster. Aside from that I'm at a loss. =/

so, is normal. to be difficult to defeat her?

because i fell like a n00b everytime i lose to her xd. I dont know why is so difficult, i have passed other dif games like halo n legendary and re4 but i cant beat this one

1- i attacked with charged shots

2- i attacked the original instead of killing the clones.

ty a lot this will help me. i hope i can pass the game, because i havent seen the 100% final. and i dont wanna see it on youtube that would ruin my purpose to pass the game :P

i die with dark samus. the best i have done, was depleting her 3/4 of her life bar.

After about 10 tries, I was able to minimize damage during the Dark Samus fight and had as much as 70% of my life left. The Aurora unit was a bitch and I eventually minimized damage enough again to outlast it.


The trick for me was energy conservation... and of course, strategic Hypermode rationing.

NO, do not listen to Rol. When dark samus splits into 3 things, turn on Xray Visor immediatly. You will be able to see who is the real one, then keep shooting it and they will all die. Then, start killing samus clones to regain health before proceeding to killing the boss, or otherwise you will fail.

^ That's slightly false. The clones drop health and missiles (if you aren't full) which is very useful. In fact I purposefulyl stalled the fight near the end and I ended up fighting the Aurora unit with almost full health. Only use charge shot when you have the time to charge it during those seconds of her being invulnerable. Also charged shot is quicker in getting her out of regen mode than normal shots.

I was overall really diappointed with the Corruption end bosses. Echoes' boss felt much more epic, especially with all those damned forms and THEN Dark Samus 4 (which was a joke but meh).

Meh, it sucks. Samus gets naked, that's all. o_o

Oh, and about Dark Samus, just keep spamming your little shots (like Rol said). The charged shot is only worth using when she's spinning in the air (recharging herself). Other than that, she should be dealt with quickly. I'd say, don't spend that much time on her clones. You can at least take one out, but try to focus mostly on the real thing. The other's attack can be dodged easily. Stay as close to the edge of the arena also, you can quickly analyze where to dodge that way.

Also, little cheap trick here: go near Dark Samus, make her use her super phazon fist on the ground, just be sure to back off a bit and spam the goddamn charge shot on her sorry face! You'll see that it's very easy to deal her lots of damage right at the beginning of the fight.

btw. i want to finish to unlock everything in the game so i need to pass it on 100%.
