NO, do not listen to Rol. When dark samus splits into 3 things, turn on Xray Visor immediatly. You will be able to see who is the real one, then keep shooting it and they will all die. Then, start killing samus clones to regain health before proceeding to killing the boss, or otherwise you will fail.
