Guitar Hero World Tour has instruments now, so what reason should someone pick up Rock Band?
First game had garbage peripherals, any indication that it changes here? That is probably hurting it bad.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Check the sales thread, this has been asked already.l Supposedly, it's doing much better than the original Rock Band did in its opening week.
Edit: Found it.

So it seems to be doing well. Very surprised.

Surprised? Why? Because the Wii got a gimped version? People love this game. Critics and commoner alike.

Because adding instruments has just served to prove that Guitar Hero is a soulless franchise?
Also the Rock Band DLC and their music on the disc itself just destroys guitar hero.

What kind of ridiculous question is this? Why would somebody pick up Rock Band when both games are the same now? How about the fact you get to play all the songs from the first one? 55 + 84 + 20 free future songs. You do the math.
There's about 300 more songs available for DLC than Guitar Hero has and it's not in forced packs that you have to buy together.
Plus if you bought Rock Band 1 you don't even need to buy new instruments so you only need the game. The only garbage instrument was the Rock Band guitar which I wipe my ass with. Other than that they are perfectly fine.
I like how your reasoning for picking up Guitar Hero World Tour over Rock Band is that it's now fully copying Rock Band so there's no reason to get that anymore. That's such brilliant logic.
